A PDF app that leaves your files where they are.
Avelix PDF is an Android app for the everyday document jobs: signing, scanning, merging and tidying up PDFs. It's made by Coding with CS, an independent developer in South Africa.
Small edits shouldn't need an upload.
Most PDF apps ask you to send your document to a server before they'll do anything with it. That's a strange trade for a lease agreement, a medical form or a copy of your ID, especially when all you want is to add a signature.
Avelix PDF does that work on the phone itself. The PDF tools are built into the app, so a file is only sent somewhere when you decide to share it.
The rest follows from that: an interface organised around tasks rather than menus, a free plan that's actually usable, and a single, clearly priced upgrade for people who use it a lot.
Three things we don't compromise on.
Local first
Standard tools process documents on your device. We don't upload your files, and we don't keep copies of them.
Built around real tasks
17 tools in four plain groups, named for what they do. Open the app, pick the job, save the result.
Fair pricing
Every tool is on the free plan. Premium is R50 a month through Google Play, and you can cancel whenever you like.
